History


Shri Amolak Jain Vidya Prasarak Mandal is located in rural area at Kada Tal. Ashti, Dist. Beed in Maharashtra. It is one of the most socio-economically, educationally backward and draught affected regions in Beed district of Marathawada region. Agriculture is the primary occupation of the people of the surrounding area. A majority of the people belong to backward/tribal classes. Amolak Rishiji Maharaj Sahab a visionary legend who played a key-role for the establishment of Amolak Jain Vidya Prasarak Mandal in 1924.

He was born in Bhopal district of Madhya Pradesh in 1876. He moved in various states for his religious preaching. He arrived in Kada in 1924 and sown the seed of education with only four students. He moved in India to inculcate national integration in the minds of the people. He was very kind hearted and respected by all communities in the society. Kada is located on the bank of the Kadi River. Before independence it was under the rule of Nizam. It is 45 km away from Ahmednagar Railway station and 125 km away from Shirdi and 100 km away from District Place Beed. The nearest airport is Aurangabad which is 150kms away from Kada.

The Ardhamagadhi slogan "PADHANAM NANAM TAYO DAYA" is the motto of our institution. It means "first knowledge then sympathy". The Vision of institute is to provide quality education resulting in harmonious development of the students. The Mission is to develop social activities, intelligence and moral aspects among the students and to provide education from nursery to post graduate to Jain as well as other communities with industrial, agricultural, technical, commercial, religious and national integrated curriculum. The results show that we continue to maintain high standards of excellence. Our students have made us proud by ranking in academics, curricular and co-curricular activities, as our logo states "learning today and leading tomorrow". In sports, the students are representing at the state as well as national level. Our aim is to transcend beyond the narrow confines of academic education and embrace the contemporary dimensions of education in totality. The Institution runs various branches like pharmacy college, P.M Munot Junior College, Motilal Kothari Secondary school, Chandanmal Bhalgat Primary school, B.M Bhandari Pre-primary school, MCVC Technical Courses, Amolak Computer Section and Chandanmal Bhalgat Kombhalikar Hostel for Jain Minority students. It is a matter of pride to say that there are more than 4000 students enrolled in the Institution today.

With the blessings of "Shri Amolak Rishiji Maharaj Sahab", Shri Amolak Jain Vidya Prasarak Mandal Kada, Tal. Ashti, Dist. Beed established Smt. S.K. Gandhi Arts, Amolak Science and P.H. Gandhi College Kada on 22th July 1996, considering the needs of the economically backward and minority students of Kada locality. The college started with three faculty of U.G. level with 169 students. Presently there are 900 students including BCA and P.G. in Hindi & Chemistry subject and 43 teaching staff and 20 non-teaching staff is actively involved in teaching learning and evaluation process.
