NSS

  The first N.S.S unit was started in the college campus in the year 2002 – 03. Shri Chavan U.E. as the first programme officer and Shri C.K. Talekar is the programme officer at present. The college has a very active N.S.S. unit which conducts several programmes that are service oriented and engaged in community service over the year. N.S.S. scheme is a community service programme sponsored by the ministry of human resource development, Govt. of India. This scheme promotes national solidarity. The organization annually conduct , seven day special camp during Jan – Feb .The organization undertakes construction of home’s for poor and needy, Westland development, blood donation, plantation, conservation of water , awareness of literacy ,sewage management etc. The motto of N.S.S is “Not me but you”. This reflects the essences of democratic living and up holds the need for selfless service and appreciation of the other points of view and also show consideration of human beings.
